An Introduction to: the Inman Aligner
If you’re looking for a teeth realignment solution that’s quick, easy and effective, you’re in the right place. We’d love to introduce you to the Inman Aligner.
What is the Inman Aligner?
The Inman Aligner is a removable retainer designed to straighten your top front teeth. Each retainer is made using nickel titanium coil springs that power two aligner bows which sit in front of and behind your top front teeth.
This set up produces an even and gentle force that eases your top front teeth into a more favourable position. They are safe to wear and work very effectively.
Who is the Inman Aligner for?
The Inman Aligner is ideal for patients who are unhappy with the alignment of their top front teeth and want a straight-forward way to correct this. Some patients choose to use this kind of alignment before they invest in cosmetic dental treatment such as veneers.
This type of retainer isn’t for use in cases of more severe malocclusion, and won’t help if you want to address the alignment of your bottom teeth.
How long will you need to wear the Inman Aligner for?
One of the major benefits of the Inman Aligner is that it works amazingly quickly. Most patients can expect to wear the retainer for between six and eighteen weeks. A traditional fixed brace usually needs to be worn for between 12 and 36 months, so this really is impressively fast.
Your dentist will be able to give you personalised advice about how long the treatment is likely to take for you.
